What can prevent an update or synchronization on the terminal?
Answer
The process mainly depends on internet connectivity, active communication with the server, and changes in the schedule that need to be sent.
Main checks
- Confirm that terminal synchronization is scheduled in the schedule
- Check whether the terminal is connected to the internet
- Review the last communication with the server on the terminals screen
- Check whether the terminal shows a red icon, which indicates lack of communication
How it behaves
- Synchronization only happens when there is a change in the schedule
- If nothing changed, the command may only update the synchronization date
- If the internet drops during the process, the terminal will try again later
About internal information
Internal campaign information, such as RSS and weather forecasts, can update independently of schedule synchronization.
Note
Clicking synchronize does not force an update if there is no new content to process.
